The device is equipped with an infrared transmitter (17) and an infrared receiver (1). This enables you to control devices such as televisions, radios, DVD players using infrared codes.

The infrared codes of the devices can be taught in to the device.

During the teach-in procedure, hold the device remote control (such as the television remote control) at a distance of around 5 cm from the device's infrared receiver. Briefly press the remote control button of the function you want to program.
